Help create a new vision for Manchester!

The Manchester Master Plan is being updated. The plan will feature the community’s fresh, new vision for the future of the city. Events and activities throughout the process will offer a range of fun and creative ways to share ideas. Action steps to achieve the vision will also be part of the plan, providing City leaders the guidance required to support change the community desires.

Community Meeting: January 21st and 22nd, 2020

The City of Manchester is hosting a series of neighborhood meetings, focus groups and a community survey to collect residents’ input. Join us at one of our upcoming community meetings to voice concerns and express opinions on the priority needs of the Manchester community and help us plan for the future of Manchester.

Community Picnic and Meeting: September 16, 2019

On Monday, September 16th, a community picnic and meeting took place at the Manchester Community Resource Center. The meeting was for community members interested in the update of the 10 Year Master Plan and the 5 Year HUD Consolidated Plan.

Manchester residents including public housing residents, public and private agencies, businesses & other interested parties attended this Community Meeting to voice their concerns and express their opinions on the priority needs of the Manchester community. Some of the topics discussed included healthy neighborhoods, economic development, home ownership & affordable housing development, health and human services, strategies for the homeless, recreational opportunities, infrastructure improvements, planning and public management and education and skills development. The concerns and input received from the community will be used in the update of the Master Plan and the HUD Consolidated Plan.

Planapalooza: September 12-17, 2019

Planapalooza wrapped up on Tuesday, September 17th. Thank you to all of those who attended and participated during this busy week. There were a number of public meetings held on various topics throughout Planapalooza, and we invite those who were unable to participate to visit the "Tell Us What You Think" page to share some of your ideas. Photos from the event can be found in the album to the right. Did we mention the Planapalooza took place at the same time as the Granite State Comicon? Can you spot some familiar characters in the meetings? More information about Planapalooza will be shared in the days to come!

Community Kick-Off: July 24, 2019

The Community Kick-off for the Manchester Comprehensive Master Plan project took place on Wednesday, July 24th. Participants joined City Staff and Master Plan consultants Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative (TPUDC) and City Explained, Inc (CEI) for a public event in City Hall. The kick-off meeting was an opportunity for citizens to learn more about the project and begin to share ideas for the future of Manchester.
